VNA Turret Truck AGVs

Overview
AIM’s VNA Turret Truck AGV merges the proven performance of a very narrow aisle forklift with AGV automation to deliver a flexible, high-density storage and retrieval system. It is designed for conventional warehouses up to 30 ft high, using standard post-and-beam racking and operating without captive rails or special flooring.

Navigation
The AGV uses laser guidance for general travel and positioning. When approaching an aisle or rack transfer zone, the vehicle automatically switches to wire guidance for precise alignment and rack entry.  Inside the aisle, a laser measurement system provides continuous X/Y feedback for accurate pallet positioning at every level.

Design
The VNA features a multi-stage mast and turret head, enabling pallet handling on either side of the aisle. It can store directly to the floor, minimizing wasted vertical space and reducing racking cost compared to ASRS installations.
