These companies offer AGVs with set specifications and you fit your needs into one for the preestablished vehicle categories. If your automation needs are standard and do not require any special accommodations, then a traditional AGV manufacturer may be a good fit.
Besides trying to fit into predetermined categories, another downside to standard manufacturers is that they usually use a single source for spare parts. This means when a part on the AGV needs to be replaced, there is only one option of who to buy from.
